Over the last months, Lincoln Park Zoo, in partnership with individuals with disabilities and our animal care experts, developed an accessible, interactive installation about conservation and care for giraffes. You are invited to test and give feedback on the prototype of this installation. During the times listed below the protype will be available outdoors near the exit of Regenstein African Journey (north end of the giraffe’s outdoor habitat). In case of rain, the prototype will be available indoors at Regenstein African Journey. In addition to interacting with the prototype, zoo staff will collect your feedback. Your comments will help shape accessibility and content for the final permanent installation.
Dates and times for prototyping:
Tuesday, March 26 10am-12pm
Wednesday, March 27 2-4pm
Friday, March 29 10am-12pm (ASL interpreter onsite)
