Our November HLAA-Lincoln Park chapter meeting is November 2nd at 6:00 pm. We look forward to seeing you soon!

SPEAKER:

Henry Kisor, well known author of “What’s that Pig Outdoors?” and retired Chicago Sun Times book editor and his service dog Trooper will be presenting! He is an author of 10 books. He has published a new book called, TRAVELING WITH SERVICE ANIMALS: BY AIR, ROAD, RAIL AND SHIP ACROSS NORTH AMERICA. It will be published by the University of Illinois Press this fall. He will be presenting about himself and his new book. He will have books for sale so now is the time to get his new book!

We will be sending out a separate RSVP link to get an idea of how many people are coming so keep your eye out for it!

Phonak FM systems and CART captioning will be provided at the meeting.

We are a social bunch, so after the meeting, we’ll walk to a local establishment for food, more conversation, and good times! Come join us! We are always welcoming new people.

FREE Parking: St. Michael’s Church in Old Town has agreed to let us park in their parking lot for free during and after our meetings. It’s a 4-5 block walk to the meeting place. The church is located at 1633 N. Cleveland Ave, Chicago, IL 60614. YOU MUST LEAVE THE PARKING LOT BY MIDNIGHT OR RISK BEING TOWED.

You may also park in the Piper’s Alley Parking Garage for a fee. The parking garage is adjacent to The Second City building.
