Hi Everyone!

Our next HLAA-Lincoln Park chapter meeting is  Saturday, November 4th at 6:00 pm. We look forward to seeing you!

Guest Speaker: Joan Wincentsen will be presenting on the American Hearing Research Foundation and the grants that they are leading! Founded in 1956 by Dr. George E. Shaumbaugh, Jr. in Chicago, The American Hearing Research Foundation serves two vital roles: to fund significant research in hearing and balance disorders and to help educate the public about hearing loss and balance disorders related to the inner ear. You won’t want to miss this informative presentation!

 

Phonak FM systems and CART captioning will be provided at the meeting.

 

We are a social bunch, so after the meeting, we’ll walk to a local establishment for food, more conversation, and good times! Come join us! We are always welcoming new people.

 

FREE Parking:  St. Michael’s Church in Old Town has agreed to let us park in their parking lot for free during and after our meetings. It’s a 4-5 block walk to the meeting place. The church is located at 1633 N. Cleveland Ave, Chicago, IL 60614. YOU MUST LEAVE THE PARKING LOT BY MIDNIGHT OR RISK BEING TOWED.

 

You may also park in the Piper’s Alley Parking Garage for a fee. The parking garage is adjacent to The Second City building.

Metra Train: Union Pacific North Line (UP-N)
